Unwinding Anxiety® is a powerful, science-backed, mindfulness-based course to help you understand how anxiety works in the brain — and what you can do to break the cycle. No shaming. No, “just think positive.” Just practical tools, real awareness, and the space to reclaim your calm.
Anxiety doesn’t mean something is wrong with you — it means your brain is doing what it was wired to do… just a little too well.
If you’ve ever found yourself overthinking at 2 am, spiraling before a presentation, or freezing when life gets overwhelming, you’re not alone. More importantly, you’re not broken. You’re stuck in a loop. And loops can be unwound.
I am a supportive and integrative coach who assists clients in finding healing, peace, balance, and strength after experiencing the effects of trauma. Like any good coach, I help you uncover and develop your unrealized potential.
I teach evidence-based Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and meditation programs and techniques, as well as mindfulness-based behavior change strategies that are proven to be effective for improving health and well-being, reducing stress and anxiety, overcoming limiting or destructive behavior patterns and beliefs, improving eating habits, and bringing balance into your life.
My dedication to this work is deeply rooted in my own healing journey. My personal experience with trauma and the transformative power of mindfulness tools have fueled my passion for helping others reduce their suffering and heal from traumatic events. Using these tools in my own process of healing has given me a unique understanding of their power and allows me to forge special connections with my clients.
Through my trauma-informed approach, I help clients feel accepted, safe, and supported as they release behaviors, beliefs, and thoughts that no longer serve their highest good so they can experience healing and achieve their highest potential.
I specialize in working with people affected by trauma and people in caregiving roles. My experience includes working with people who have been affected by traumatic events and experiences, such as cancer diagnosis and treatment, anxiety, depression, and psychological abuse, which often result in a variety of unhealthy and unhelpful coping strategies. Working with caregivers emphasizes self-care to ensure a positive work-life balance, reduce vicarious trauma, and eliminate burnout.
